Notes

The database contains records each representing a language in contact with another language or group of languages. Each record contains several layouts, each layout is devoted to a particular domain of structure. The records provide information about the structural categories, domains, and sub-categories that are affected by contact, the type of contact influence (matter or pattern replication), and text fields provide glossed examples of structures that are believed to have emerged as a result of contact. The entire database can be queried for any of the above information.
